A Taste of Learning

Learning often happens beyond books and structured lessons. Recently, Sanchita and Shalmali decided to set up a lemonade stall right in front of the school gate. What started as a simple idea turned into a meaningful experience filled with learning, creativity, and courage.

It all began with a shared thought - what if we sell lemonade? Without hesitation, they got to work. They painted a black and white board with details about the stall, mixed the lemonade with care, and set up a small table. As people stopped by to buy, Sanchita and Shalmali handled the money, answered questions, and managed the stall with quiet confidence.
They earned ₹100 that day - but the value of the experience went far beyond the money. They learned how to organize, problem-solve when things didn’t go as planned, and communicate with people. More importantly, they discovered the courage to take initiative and follow through on their idea.

This wasn’t about business or profit: it was about responding to what their hearts told them to do. They embraced the experience fully, learning to trust their instincts and adapt along the way.
The real reward wasn’t the money they made - it was the confidence and independence they gained. Sanchita and Shalmali’s lemonade stall was a reminder that learning is not always about following a plan; sometimes it’s about stepping out, taking a chance, and seeing where it leads. Moments like these are not measured in success or failure - they are about the quiet joy of trying, of discovering, of learning to trust the process.
