Parents As Learning Facilitators

Parents at Know School gathered for a meet-up, engaging in activities alongside their children. While the tasks seemed playful, they carried a deeper purpose, grounded in a strong pedagogy inspired by UnBox’s fundamental attributes. The activities encouraged exploration, curiosity, and creativity, helping both parents and children experience the joy of open learning.

During the discussion, parents reflected on how learning naturally unfolds when children are free to explore without rigid instructions. It was highlighted that the primary responsibility for a child’s education rests with parents, rather than solely with schools. By observing their children closely, parents could gain valuable insights into their learning processes, recognizing how curiosity leads to understanding.
